Favorite Score: Mass for 3 Voices - William Byrd

    Dear Esteemed Colleagues:

    Can you please recommend your favorite score for the Mass for Three Voices by William Byrd as found on CPDL or IMSLP? There are many different scores for this Mass out there.

    My very talented, very ambitious choir of six voices generally sings SAB. They have decided tackle William Byrd's Mass for 3 Voices. After a bit of experimenting with just one short movement, we believe we can pull it off by moving the Sopranos to Alto, and the Altos to Tenor.

    I gathered rehearsal scores from two differing sources on YouTube and made them lists to be able to practice their part.

    Any advice you have would be appreciated.

    I like Sheila Crossey's edition, available here in separate movements.

    But the aforementioned edition by David Fraser, here, may be better for SAB, since it's a tone higher.
