JOIN US for a fun, educational, 2-day workshop on singing and learning about traditional Gregorian Chant that will leave you inspired, uplifted and ready for a renewal of the musical tradition of the Catholic Church: November 9-10, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kokomo, IN.

This practicum on Gregorian Chant will provide a basic instruction and education for all who are active or interested in the sacred chant of the Catholic Church.

Sponsored by the St. Patrick Parish Schola, Kokomo, IN, under the direction of Amy Zuberbueler, the workshop will feature:

• Instruction in singing the chant and reading Gregorian (square note) notation
• Session on conducting chant
• Chant book: A Gregorian Chant Master Class, by Dr. Theodore Marier, a $30 value, free to all workshop participants
• Continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday
• Packets on chant exercises

The workshop, which runs from Friday evening at 6:00 pm to Saturday evening at 6:45, culminates with the 5:30 Vigil Mass, during which the participants will sing what they have learned. (See complete schedule at the right.)

Cost for the workshop increases to $80 after October 19, so mail in your registration early. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
