Learn the basics of how to read and sing Gregorian in a one-day intensive course with Dr. Jennifer Donelson. Saturday, Sept. 27th, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m at St. Michael’s. The course will cover: reading Gregorian notation, understanding how the chant and Mass fit together, Latin pronunciation, good vocal technique, and learning new music. The day will conclude by singing for the 5:00 p.m. Mass.
This workshop is ideal for choir members, teachers, parents, and anyone who is interested in learning about our rich heritage of sacred music. Registration fees are $25 and include lunch plus the cost of materials. Pre-registration is required and is open to anyone from St. Michael’s or any other parish.
